What is Reliance Toll Free Service?
Reliance Toll Free Service enables you to have a single unique number across the country. The caller (your customer) can reach you on RTF by paying local/toll-free charge. The incoming calls to RTF can be routed to single or multiple destinations as per your requirements.
What is a Free Call Number service?
The Free Call Number service provides you with a single unique number across the country on which callers can reach you free of charge.
All Free Call Numbers start with 1800.
What is Local Call Number service?
The Local Call Number service provides you with a single unique number across the country on which callers can reach you by paying local call charges.
All Local Call Numbers start with 1860.

Can the Reliance Toll Free Service be accessed through all the phones?
Presently this service is accessible from more than 200 million phones (mobile & landline) in India.

Reliance has already tied up with all operators (both private & state owned like BSNL and MTNL), paving the way towards an operator-independent 1-800 access.

Very soon, this service will be 100% accessible from all operator phones across India.

From which Locations/Cities/ Towns can our callers/customers call our RTF?
Your customers can call you from any city where Reliance Communications Ltd services are operational, (3670 towns-include list of all cities). In future when other operators open their network to Reliance Toll Free Service, these services will also be accessible from other parts of the country.
How is the call delivered to the call center or the subscriber location?
The calls can be delivered to the call center/subscriber location through Reliance provided voice services. This can be done through a variety of medium, depending upon the expected call volume and readiness of Reliance wire line network.

Do you need to additionally subscribe to the terminating phone lines or is it part of the solution?
You will have to additionally subscribe for the terminating phone lines from Reliance for delivery of traffic at the call center. Respective product tariff for the terminating lines shall be applicable.

What is the Numbering scheme for Free Call Number?
The numbering format for Free Call number services is as follows
1800 yyy xxxxxx
Where "1800" is Free Call number service level;
“yyy” are the Reliance operator codes
“xxxxxx” is the unique subscriber number, which could be either 4-digits/5-digits/6-digits.
What is the Numbering scheme for Local Call Number?
The numbering format for Local Call number services is as follows
1860 yyy xxxxxxx
Where "1860" is Local Call Number service level;
“yyy” are the Reliance operator code
“xxxxxxx” is the unique subscriber number, which could be either 4-digits/5-digits/6-digits/7-digits.
Are there any special numbers available?
Yes, there are special numbers available; they are called Vanity numbers. Vanity numbers are premium numbers, which are easy to remember, and your customers will find it easy to recall your numbers and identify your brand with a number. This will improve your customer contact and enhance your business.
Do I have to pay extra for Special number?
Yes, your account manager will guide you on the tariff and charges associated with the special numbers.
What is Origin Dependent routing?
Calls are routed to the destinations based on call origination. E.g. if a company has call centers in the north and in the south, the calls of the southern callers can be routed to the southern call center and calls of the northern callers can be routed to the northern call center.
What is Time-of-Day routing?
Calls are routed to the destinations based on time of call origination. E.g. a company has a call center in Delhi and another one in Mumbai. If the call center at Mumbai operates for 24 hours and Delhi operates only in the daytime, then in the night-time all inbound calls from the northern region after 8pm and before 8am can be sent to Mumbai.
What is Date-of-Year routing?
Calls are routed to the destinations based on dates of the calendar year. E.g. a company has a call center in Delhi and another in Mumbai. The Delhi call center does not operate on National holidays (example 15th August) and the one in Mumbai operates 365 days of the year; all inbound calls to Delhi call center on 15th August are routed to Mumbai call center.
What is Day-of-Week routing?
Calls are routed to the destinations based on different days of the week. E.g. a company has call center in Delhi and one in Mumbai. The Delhi call center does not operate on weekends and the one in Mumbai operates for all the 7 days of the week; all inbound calls to Delhi call center on weekends are routed to Mumbai call center.
What is Call Distribution based on percentage?
If a company has multiple call centers, the company can choose to route calls across a number of call centers on a percentage basis depending on the call handling capacity of the call center, e.g. Call center A has 70 seats and Call center B has 30 seats, then the calls will be distributed in the proportion of 70:30.
What is Tele-service Routing?
Prompts the caller to reach an agent or a fax machine.
What are Call Re-routing services/ Disaster recovery services ?
Calls at the destination can be redirected through the following features- Busy/ No Answer/Route failure. This service ensures maximum call completion.

This service can also be used for disaster recovery. A company has multiple call centers and incase of any emergency or natural disaster one of the call center is not operational, then calls coming to that call center can be routed to other call centers. This assures service to all regions in times of emergencies too.

What is Line Hunting?
Hunt groups can be pre-defined so if there is a busy line than the call is terminated on the next available line and the call gets answered.
What is Exception list?
This feature enables you to allow or restrict phones belonging to specific area. You can choose Black (disallow form this area) or White (allow from this area) list.

This will result in savings as you can focus and spend time on the phone more productively with your real and potential customers and you need not pay for calls received from areas that are not your target markets

If I move my office location do I need to change my Reliance Toll Free Service?
Reliance Toll Free Service is portable, so even if you move your business location, you just have to get your RTF to ring at your new location. You will have to take a voice line for terminating calls at the new location.
Do I need to have different RTFs as I have call centers at different locations in the country?
No, you do not need to have different RTFs for different call center locations in the country. The incoming calls to your RTF can be routed to single or multiple destinations depending on your requirement. E.g. city of origination, time of the day, day of the week, date of the year, percentage based distribution.
How am I billed when someone calls my Free Call number?
Your enterprise pays for local and long distance call charges.

After choosing a particular Rate plan, Is it possible to migrate to a different rate plan?
Yes, Plan migration shall be effected from the next billing cycle in case the migration request is received 15 days prior to the end of current billing period. Otherwise in the next to next billing period.
What is the billing cycle?
You will receive a monthly bill.
I want to change the features subscribed, will they be charged?
You would be charged a nominal sum for every instance of change/addition/deletion of features/routing configuration.
