BlackBerry 9630 Tour Dual Mode CDMA and GSM roaming
The world phone empowers the business user to travel wherever roaming exists worldwide .In countries where a CDMA roaming partner exists, the BlackBerry 9630 Tour will latch on to the CDMA network and in other places the BlackBerry 9630 Tour will latch on to a GSM partner network ensuring, the business user is connected any time ,anywhere.
The BlackBerry 9630 Tour will have a GSM SIM card provided at the time of purchase. There will be a single number for both CDMA and GSM network.
Activation of the SIM Card will be as per the applicable norm for CDMA International Roaming. A deposit will be applicable as per the customer category.
You have the choice of getting the SIM activated or calling Reliance customer care at 30336363 for activation of International Roaming by quoting the SIM number (printed on the SIM).

Post International Roaming activation request given to the customer care – the customer needs to download the preferred roaming list ( PRL ) on your handset by sending “PRL“ as an SMS to 53733 and then dialing *228. This process will enable the customers to roam on CDMA partner networks. Please note PRL should be downloaded at least 24 hours before departure. |

Using your handheld while roaming
Switch off and then switch on the CDMA/ GSM handset to roam on GSM partner networks. In case you are unable to make calls, follow the steps given below :
