How can you subscribe
To subscribe for the BlackBerry GSM SIM card, please visit the nearest Reliance World and submit the subscription form duly filled in along with the security deposit. There is no charge for switching to the new SIM card.

Activation of International Roaming on BlackBerry GSM SIM card

To use International Roaming facility you need to have International Long Distance service (ISD service) activated on your BlackBerry Device |

Register for the International Roaming service at any Reliance World or Reliance Mobile Store by filling a World Roaming subscription form along with the eligible security deposit. |
Using the BlackBerry GSM phones while roaming
Step 1 - On your BlackBerry handheld, go to R-Menu tab, in the main menu and select Roaming option. Once you have selected Roaming option, it will display 2 options - NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL. On the BlackBerry Curve 8900, you will need to go to ->> Main Menu --> Set up --> R-Menu
Step 2 - Select INTERNATIONAL option
Step 3 - Switch off and then switch on your BlackBerry handheld. Automatically your BlackBerry handheld will latch onto the available network.
Step 4 -In case your BlackBerry handheld does not latch on to any network then you have to go to Options tab in your handheld and select Mobile Network and available networks will appear. Select a network and you can make and receive calls.
Step 5 - Once you arrive in India, select NATIONAL option again to latch on to the Reliance Network.

Deactivation of BlackBerry GSM SIM card roaming service
If you wish to make use of our International roaming services in future, we recommend that you to keep the International Roaming Service activated.
For disconnection, visit any of our Reliance World. The security deposit collected against the International roaming service will be credited back to your account on permanent disconnection of the service.
Even if your International Roaming service is disconnected, you may reactivate the service when you visit abroad again.
Note:

On returning to India, just switch off and switch on your GSM handset. Select National option and use it like before. |

The incoming caller number will be passed on to the customer subject to availability of the same from the other service provider. |

How to avail the new SIM card ?
To avail of the new SIM card, customers just need to visit their nearest RW outlet and swap their old SIM cards with the new BlackBerry GSM SIM card. There is no charge for switching over to the new BlackBerry GSM SIM card.
Please Note -
1. Kindly carry your identification proof for the SIM change process.
2. After a SIM change has been performed by the RW Outlet representative, all BlackBerry services except Emails will start working automatically. To resume Email services, for BIS, contact Reliance BlackBerry Customer Care and for Enterprise contact your BES Administrator.
