Will my Passport International SIM be activated while I am in India? |
No, because as per the policy of Department of Telecommunication, Govt. of India, all SIMs that are provided rental for usage in foreign countries cannot be activated in India. It can be activated only when you reach the destination country. |

Will I be charged any rental for the SIM/ handset provided to me? |
Yes, there is a nominal rental charge applicable for the SIM / handset provided. Handset is provided only for Passport International SIM for USA.

Is Passport International SIM available in postpaid or prepaid? |
Passport International SIM for USA, China & Malaysia is available as a postpaid connection and Passport International SIM for 110 countries is available as a prepaid connection. |

What is the validity period for the Passport International SIM? |
Passport International SIM will remain activated according to the travel dates mentioned in the CAF (Customer Application Form). If you extend your travel and want the SIM for a longer period, contact customer care and also send a request mail to us at customercare@reliancepassport.com.

Do I need to pay deposit for Passport International SIM? |
No there is no deposit for Passport International SIM; we do take an authorisation on your credit card.
An authorisation automatically gets released within 21 days of blocking. |

What documents do I need to submit if I wish to buy a Passport International SIM? |
In order to buy a Passport International SIM, you will be required to submit the following documents:
- A self attested copy of your Passport/ PAN Card.
- Last credit card bill / bank statement/ last BSNL/ MTNL bill / electricity bill / latest postpaid Airtel / Hutch / Idea / Reliance bill copy for current address proof.
- Photocopy of credit card duly signed for credit limit assessment and billing.
In case of corporate customers, memorandum of association, letter from admin with company seal is required.

What is the procedure for acquiring my Passport International SIM? |
- Get in touch with your nearest distributor/ call our Customer Care/ contact our Sales Executive.
- Furnish our CAF (Customer Agreement Form) along with submitting the required mandatory documents as per DoT/ TRAI guidelines.
- Post submission of CAF, you will receive a welcome call from our customer care.
- A proper check will follow to ensure that the SIM gets delivered at the provided address.
- SIM is dispatched to you by our nearest distributor available in your locality, within three to four working days from submission of CAF and documents.
- Your SIM gets activated only post you land in your country of destination.
