Users send SMS messages to the shortcode 51555 (FBOOK) or a similar number.

How to subscribe

A reliance subscriber needs to register his mobile number at www.facebook.com/mobile. Post registration, Facebook will forward his Facebook messages and notifications to his mobile via SMS. For posting messages on walls, poking friends, sending friend’s request etc, the subscriber needs to SMS the details to 51555
