Now, for the first time, you can book your railway tickets on your Reliance Mobile, thanks to R World!


This service is brought to you in joint partnership with IRCTC, which enables you to book your tickets on the Internet. ‘Rail Booking’ is a part of the R World suite of services. You don't need a PC and an Internet connection to book a ticket online anymore. You just need to be registered with IRCTC, giving details like your address, telephone number, etc.

 

The following features are available:

  • Rail Enquiry
  • Ticketing
  • Reservation:

Here you get to find out details of the trains between any two stations entered by you. An easy scroll-down menu helps you navigate through the various options available in terms of train, class and berth availability. You can book your ticket using your credit card. No more waiting in queues or looking for a PC and internet connection to buy or find out the availability of accommodation on any train in India.

Registration:
In order to use the Rail Booking service to book your tickets, you need to register with IRCTC and this section helps you do just that. Alternately, if you have already registered with IRCTC, then you may directly access 'Reservation' using your existing IRCTC username and password.

Short Cut:
If you know the station codes, you can enter them in the ‘To’ and ‘From’ station spaces for travel, along with the train number to get shortcut access to this service.

Booked Tickets:
This feature will allow you to view 'history' of tickets booked by you.


PNR Alert:
Get the PNR status of your train tickets.
Reservation and Delivery of tickets are handled by IRCTC (it usually takes 2 to 3 days for delivery of tickets) Please check www.irctc.co.in to know about the delivery centers

Entry charges of Rs 4 apply for Reservation. Booked Tickets has an entry charge of Rs 2. Shortcuts and PNR Alert have usage charges of Rs 2 and Rs 4 respectively. Registration is a free service.
